Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS)

DC to DC converters and DC to AC inverters be in the right position to the category of changed mode power supplies (SMPS). Further, there are SMPS, operating from mains, called off-line switching supplies. A sample of Output voltage is used as feedback signal for the drive circuit for switching transistor to accomplish regulation. Power electronics is exclusively devoted to switch mode power adaptation and deals with modem problems in analysis, design and synthesis of electronic circuits as applied to well-organized conversion, control and regulation and electrical energy.
